Scholarships for Ongoing Professional Development The Liberty Judy Center provides scholarships for childcare providers to attend trainings offered by the Baltimore City Child Care Resource Center. Trainings cover a wide variety of topics that support school readiness. Providers can receive Core of Knowledge Clock Hours. |

Childcare Consortium The Liberty Judy Center developed a childcare consortium of childcare providers operating in the Liberty Elementary school zone. The Judy Center provides ongoing technical assistance to childcare providers interested in applying for, or advancing within, Maryland EXCELS. Maryland EXCELS is a statewide system that awards ratings to childcare providers based on meeting nationally recognized quality standards and best practices (find out more about Maryland EXCELS here). In addition, the Liberty Judy Center facilitates transition services for children transitioning from the childcare setting to the school. |
